Easy Entertaining: Taste of Fly Creek Series - August 28 & 29 – The Mill’s Chef Tom will help you create quick dishes, easily prepared with help from Robert Rothschild Farm’s specialty dips and sauces. Promotions and recipe ideas are paired for each day. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00.
16th Annual Antique Engine Show & Fly Creek Day Tent Sale August 28 & 29 – Enthusiasts from the region join together to display restored gas engines and farm machinery of the past. Feel the rhythm of old-time engines as the Mill features its “one-lung” power display. The Mill hosts the show and it is free to the public and engine exhibitors. On Saturday the Mill will hold its annual inventory reduction tent sale in conjunction with Fly Creek Day, a community-wide celebration with yard sales, food vending, entertainment and special activities.

Mustard Mayhem: Taste of Fly Creek Series - September 4, 5 & 6 - Seven of the Mill’s top selling mustards will be the focus of a tasting including the wildly popular Honey and Raspberry Honey pretzel dipping mustards. In addition to being favorite condiments, the Mill’s mustards serve additional roles as marinades and bases for basting sauces. Recipe ideas as well as promotional specials will be available both days. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00.

Perfect Pasta: Taste of Fly Creek Series - September 11 & 12 - Enjoy a special focused tasting of the Mill’s pasta sauces including the popular Artichoke & Walnut and Eggplant & Parmesan paired with fun-shaped pastas. Recipe ideas as well as promotional specials will be available both days. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00

Cooperstown Rotary AppleFest, September 18 & 19 - The Mill’s most popular festival featuring Music, Antique Tractors, Apples and Family Fun hosted by the Cooperstown Rotary Club and sponsored by regional businesses. The festival welcomes apple lovers, antique and classic tractor enthusiasts, and families to the Fly Creek Cider Mill to enjoy live music, sponsors´ exhibits, a tractor show and children’s games. Sponsorship opportunities are available through Rotary at 607-547-4149. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and 12 to 5 pm Sunday, donation fee, free parking.
Top of the Class: Taste of Fly Creek Series, September 18 - Join Pride of New York Producer Patsy Smith of SchoolHouse Kitchen for a focused tasting of her award winning mustard, chutney and salad dressing. This featured sampling is in addition to the Mill’s daily sampling of over 40 different foods. Recipes and promotions are available. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00.
Apple Salsa Day: Taste of Fly Creek Series – September 19 - Join Salsa Bob in a special focused tasting of the Mill’s most popular condiment, Apple Salsa. This tomato-based salsa blends just the right amount of peppers and herbs with sweet New York apples to create a salsa that is perfect with chips or as a topping for burgers. Recipes and promotions are available. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00.
Dippity-Do-Da Day: Taste of Fly Creek Series – September 25 - Experience the full flavor of Fly Creek Cider Mill specialty dip mixes in this focused tasting. These very popular mixes range from sweet to savory and are easy to prepare and enjoy. Samples, recipes and promotions will be available from 10:00 until 4:00.
Dipz, Rubz & Soupz: Taste of Fly Creek Series – September 26 – Well known for its fun packaging and flavor packed dips, Cugino’s Gourmet Specialty Foods will be the focused tasting featuring dips and meats grilled with their rubs. Easy to prepare and even easier to enjoy, the dips are simply wonderful. Recipes and promotions are available. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00.

Big Squeeze Weekend, October 2 & 3 - In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard will host Bassett HealthCare’s Mobile Mammography Program. Information regarding breast cancer and early detection through the use of mammography, and about the health benefits of apples will be distributed. The Program staff will be available to answer questions or to schedule appointments.

Fly Creek Cider Festival October 9 & 10 - Enjoy cider, autumn´s most flavorful beverage, at the peak of Upstate NY’s spectacular fall foliage. Observe cider making operations throughout the day using the Mill’s vintage equipment dating back to 1856. Sample our cider made without modern technology that provides a taste of NY’s water-powered past. Entertainment will be scheduled at a later date.
Get Pickled!: Taste of Fly Creek Series – October 9 & 10 - Savor the flavors of this special focused tasting of the Fly Creek Cider Mill’s Pickled Products. From sweet and tangy pickled beets to the heat and aroma of habanero pickled garlic there is a flavor for everyone to enjoy. Samples, recipes and promotions will be available from 10:00 until 4:00.

Safe Kids Weekend, October 23 & 24 - Safe Kids of Otsego County will offer Halloween and pedestrian safety materials to assist in keeping kids safe during the popular Trick or Treat event. Reflective Halloween bags, along with reflective stickers will be distributed and are designed to help kids and adults avoid traffic dangers and to stay safe during the busy evening holiday. 10:00 until 4:00 Saturday and Sunday. Donation fee, parking is free.

Simple recipes using their Artichoke Dip and the Mill’s cave-aged Cheddar Cheese will be available with promotions to lighten your holiday schedule. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00.
Pure New York Maple Syrup: Taste of Fly Creek Series - November 6 & 7 - Join Pride of New York Members, Breezie Maples Farm, for a focused tasting of pure maple syrup. Pancake mixes and baked goods will be paired with syrup and maple cream. Recipes and promotions are available. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00.
Wassailing Weekend - November 13 & 14 - The Mill will offer demonstrations on how to make Wassail, the traditional holiday drink. Savory spices are blended with the Mill’s famous sweet cider to make a hot beverage that is perfect for the holidays. View the Mill Store´s holiday displays to find that perfect gift. Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00 both Saturday and Sunday.

Bring your own basket or box, or select one from the Mill’s attractive inventory. Mill basketing experts will be on hand to assist you in creating a gift that is sure to please by adding just the right item for everyone on your list. 10 – 2 each day.

Super Solstice Sale December 18 & 19 - The Mill ends its 154th season Sunday, December 19. Product discounts are available to last-minute shoppers as the Mill liquidates retired inventory.
