Voyage of Discovery- Mystic, Connecticut
Fly Creek’s team and friends visit the ConnecticutCoast.
Mystic, CT-  Fly Creek Cider Mill team members and friends enjoyed their sixth motorcoach tour billed as a Voyage of Discovery to learn retail and tourism trends along Connecticut’s coast last weekend.
Trip highlights included stops at the world-famous Stew Leonard’s stores. Stew’s first store in Norwalk was followed by a visit to their newest location in Newington, just south of Hartford. The group enjoyed the farm-fresh produce and their unique style of retail that is a combination of entertainment, specialty and freshly prepared ready-to-eat foods. Other stops included historic Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium and lunch at the famous Seamen’s Inne.
“These spring trips give us all a boost of energy and excitement at the start of our new season opening April 19th. Exploring and learning new ideas from such a popular tourism destination such as Mystic are important to our team effectiveness in delivering a superior visitor experience,” says Bill Michaels, co-owner of the Mill.
