Big Results from Big Squeeze
Big Squeeze Weekend Funds Bassett Cancer Research Institute
FLY CREEK, NY – The Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard’s annual Big Squeeze Weekend raised $2,281 from Saturday’s cider sales for Bassett’s Cancer Research Institute through the Friends of Bassett. Bassett’s Mobile Mammography Department was on hand to answer questions and schedule appointments for mammography throughout the day.
“We had a wonderful turnout for this fundraiser. It was a great start in promoting October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said Brenda Michaels, co-owner of the Mill. “Past Big Squeeze events raised funds for the new mobile cancer screening coach that will be on the road later this month. I can’t wait to see it in action.”
