Goslings Hatched on Goose Street!
Fly Creek Cider Mill in Full Bloom and Flavor
Fly Creek, NY- Spring is definitely in the air at the Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard with the sweet smell of apple blossoms and the chirping of newly hatched goslings. Just this week the famous Sebastopol Geese of Fly Creek successfully hatched six eggs and now the goslings are getting their feet wet in the Millpond. Visitors are enjoying the antics of the babies surrounded by their proud yet protective parents. The Mill’s Sebastopols are a friendly breed of white goose whose feathers are extremely fluffy and frizzy. The Mill’s wide variety of ducks are also sitting on eggs awaiting the arrival of fuzzy ducklings.
At the Mill this Mother’s Day Weekend will be Breezie Maples Farm with a focused tasting of their local, organic maple syrup paired with freshly made buttermilk pancakes from Fly Creek Cider Mill’s own mix. Treat Mom to the sights, sounds and flavors of spring this weekend with a day out in Fly Creek.
