Wassail, the traditional cider-based holiday drink, will be the center of the Mill's focused tasting this weekend from 10 - 4 both days.

The Earliest reports of wassail date back to the 1300s.  The drink, steeped in tradition and legend, is Old English.  Originating from the words “Waes hael,” meaning “good health,” sharing a pot of holiday wassail was a community event.  Before savoring the wassail, neighbors shouted “Waes hael,” then gulped the drink and shouted again, “Drink hael...

Not for just Parrot Heads or Land Sharks, cheese curds are a staple of any Upstate New York diet.  Made from fresh, young cheddar cheese curds are enjoyed plain or seasoned with herbs and spices.  Join in a tasting of all the Mill’s fresh cheese curds made at Palatine Valley Dairy in Montgomery County.  Sampling hours are 10:00 – 4:00.
